Automatic speed control
The GARD PX series features advanced firmware for optimized speed management, intelligently adjusting motor speed based on the boom’s position to reduce the risk of malfunctions. During setup, the installer inputs key parameters such as boom length and performs an initial calibration. The firmware then continuously monitors and adjusts speed and deceleration during each cycle, utilizing encoder feedback to ensure precision.

Smart design for easy installation
The improved design allows for easy reversal of the barrier’s opening direction without disassembling any components. An intermediate plate supports smooth installation of the boom on either the right or left side, significantly reducing setup effort. The startup process has been streamlined into three quick steps: select the opening direction on the display, input the boom length, and perform the initial calibration. That’s it!

Integration with third party systems
The GARD PX supports the Modbus protocol, a global standard in industrial communication and one of the most widely used connection protocols for industrial electronic devices. Its control board includes a built-in RS485 interface with native Modbus support, allowing for easy integration. Additionally, with an optional bridge, the RS485 signal can be converted to TCP, enabling seamless compatibility with third-party systems such as access control or building management systems. This flexibility ensures smooth interoperability with a range of industrial and commercial applications.
