The TH/700 chronothermostat produced by CAME won the 2020 Archiproducts Design Awards in the “Systems, Components and Materials” category, thanks to its modern design with simple and essential lines, a high visibility LCD display and reduced dimensions. The award, initiated in 2016 and now in its fifth edition, has become the benchmark for prime quality and innovation in the world of design.
“We are proud – comments Andrea Menuzzo President of CAME S.p.A. – to receive this award for the TH/700 chronothermostat. Its simple and elegant design perfectly represents the goal that we at CAME set when designing a new product: to combine the aesthetics of Made in Italy with the most innovative technologies in the sector, to improve home wellbeing. I would like to thank – concludes the President Menuzzo – the team that worked on the creation of this smart temperature control solution and made it possible to receive this award.”
TH/700 is a recess-mounted device with a large display with rounded corners and an advanced technology able to learn the user’s habits. It is available in two versions, black and white, to adapt to any type of furnishing; a proximity sensor activates the display only when necessary, guaranteeing effective energy saving and a discreet device that does not disturb during the night. In addition, the LED backlighting in different colors lets you immediately understand if the system is on or off. Innovation and smart functions make this CAME model the perfect solution for people who want a new generation connected chronothermostat and with three different control possibilities: manual, remote control through the Thermo App and now also using Alexa’s skills.
By selecting the “scenarios” it is possible to set the house temperature according to the season and peoples living habits. Through the ‘geolocation’ the system is able to detect the user’s actual position, so that the preset scenarios are automatically activated when he/she goes away or come back to their home. The THermo app also provides a “consumption report” in which the temperatures set and detected in the last few weeks are highlighted and generates, based on habits, a personal profile that suggests an ideal thermal program, so as to reduce waste, optimize consumption and use the system more consciously.
