CAME presents ZLX24, the control board capable of managing the entire range of 24V motors for swing gates, featuring the most advanced electronic functions that allow installers to work smartly and efficiently.
The ZLX24 control boards are equipped with Connect technology: thanks to a dedicated slot for the use of the CAME KEY or a CAME gateway it is possible to enable a series of additional functions that allow the installer to manage the automation also remotely, via PC or smartphone, to offer both assistance services and preventive and predictive maintenance. In addition, the integrated Connect technology ensures better user experience with intelligent opening and closing functions via an app or Alexa voice controls.
The new-generation electronics of the control boards are also capable of constantly analysing the forces acting on the window/door thanks to adaptive speed and torque control: this feature allows ZLX24, according to the parameters indicated during installation, to adjust the motor speed and torque, ensuring system efficiency and reliability over time and in any environmental condition.
If the new ZLX24 boards are installed on existing systems and with motors not equipped with ENCODER, CAME has included a new “virtual encoder” function that ensures safe performance and precise detection of obstacles in all operating sequences, whether opening or closing. The electronics are therefore able to manage the same parameters that are usually available on motors equipped with standard encoders, such as motor torque and operation speed. Another innovative feature of ZLX24 is the intelligent motion control, which, with its fully automatic procedure, means that the gate leaves deceleration during opening and closing is no longer set manually.
The new control boards can also be integrated with traditional control and safety accessories as well as with CXN BUS technology, which allows feedback from each accessory by means of the self-configuration function. Finally, as for all CAME electronics, the system is compatible with the wireless accessories of the RIO System security system.
The ZLX24 line also stands out for a series of solutions designed to improve and simplify all the fixing phases – for example, the DIN bar hooking system – and electrical connection, thanks to the tilting and removable board support. The box layout is designed to hold the various accessories such as emergency batteries and recharge modules, magnetic detection sensors or RGSM modules, so that no additional external units need to be installed.
CAME has developed the ZLX24 in two versions to meet all requirements. ZLX24SA, the most capable and performing control board: with its graphic programming display, it can show all the necessary information and manage two different types of motors, allowing the installer to easily set all the initial parameters. In addition, a special function makes it possible to schedule up to 8 different opening and closing time slots and up to 16 special days. The ZLX24MA version, designed to be compact and versatile, with a 7-segment programming display, is small in size, but offers great performance. It is the perfect solution for situations that require quick and easy installation without reducing functionality and connectivity.
