With the objective of meeting the current needs for security and access control in sports venues and at the restart of the Series B football championship, CAME has integrated the access control and security system of the G. Teghil Municipal Stadium in Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD) through the supply of 5 GUARDIAN automatic systems at the entrances and exits of the structure and the parking area in front of it.
“At such a particular time for sport – commented Andrea Menuzzo, CEO of CAME S.p.A. – we are proud to have been called upon to participate in the project to renovate and secure the G. Teghil Stadium by integrating our access control and automation technology. We worked side by side and in synergy with all the other professionals who took part in the plan, bringing with us the experience gained from 3000 large projects carried out all over the world.”
The solution proposed for the Lignano stadium includes the installation of five full-height bidirectional turnstiles, one single-entry and four double-entry, designed to control high-traffic passages such as stadiums, sports arenas and airports. The automatic turnstiles with four 90° sectors are designed to ensure one entry at a time and, at the same time, prevent the introduction of unauthorized objects into the facility, for the safety of all guests. GUARDIAN systems are characterized by a sturdy structure and the use of the best materials (galvanized and painted steel) to withstand both time and intensive use cycles. This CAME solution therefore provides a significant deterrent against vandalism on the one hand, and high security and protection for fans on the other.
The turnstiles are also equipped with LED lights that illuminate the passage area and offer the possibility of installing a traffic light at the top of the structure. The GUARDIAN systems supplied for the G.Teghil stadium have been partially customized with the addition of casings necessary for the installation of third party products: ticket readers and cameras have been integrated into the system in order to meet the security requirements of current legislation for facilities in which sports events are held.
Still in the sport sector, CAME has also developed the access control systems for the Italian Porsche Carrera Cup championship, and those for managing the flow of fans in large Russian stadiums, such as Ekaterinburg Arena, Samara Arena, Rostov Arena and Mordovia Arena in Saransk, where it has integrated its solutions with the most advanced technologies in terms of entrance control and management.
