The security of public venues, such as event areas and sports centers, and workplaces, such as manufacturing and construction sites, has always been a priority for operators, security managers and institutions. That’s why CAME has designed a new model of full-height turnstile that can be adapted to various application contexts and further expands the range of access control solutions: BT Roof.
This new model, with its sturdy structure, differs in that it has a built-in roof, making it a complete system perfect for outdoor use as it can offer shelter from the weather. Among other things, BT Roof can be fitted with a raised platform, making it easy to install and later remove – such as at temporary events-as well as enabling integration with CAME access control solutions – such as the ACS01 software – or third-party software to safely manage entry and exit.
Another plus of this CAME turnstile, is the presence of large (260 mm) paneled columns where various types of recognition and entry-enabling devices can be installed, extremely useful when managing venues with a high influx or specific identification requirements: such as various types of badge and code readers, video intercom systems, barcode or QR code ticket readers, and much more.
“The versatility of use of this turnstile,” commented Paolo Marini, General Manager of CAME Italia, “and its construction features are exactly what we aspire to when we design our products. We always have a broader vision in mind made up of adaptable and integrable CAME or third-party solutions, in line with the team’s tailor-made approach “Progetto Spazi”. A team composed of professionals with mixed and highly qualified skills that provides customers with all the support they need to implement the solution that best fits their business needs and requirements, throughout the project from programming-engineering to post-sales.”
Adding to the versatility of the turnstile, which is available in the models BT Roof 300 and BT Roof 300D are the two single-entry and double-entry, 3-sector versions with two-way electromechanical or motorized operation, status, passage, and LED lighting indicators. The turnstile can also be customized, with painting of the structure and the rotor, a combination of steel and paint, or both in stainless steel. In addition, given the application areas, in the event of a power outage with the “Fail Safe” function, the passageway can be freed by allowing the central rotor to move in both directions or, as needed, blocking only one direction at a time.
