The Group, with more than 50 years’ experience in the sector, and Headquarters in Dosson di Casier, in the province of Treviso, has 10 production plants in Italy, France, Spain, England, Turkey and Brazil, and employs 2,500 people; it also leads the market with more than 25 branches and 40 warehouses worldwide, and operates in more than 110 countries, thanks to commercial partners and distributors.
The numbers confirm CAME S.p.A.’s continuous development, its industrial growth, and the strengthening of its core business and major international projects; the company is a leader in the automation sector, and is continuously expanding in the video entry system, smart home, access control, parking systems and high security sectors. Italy, too, is driving the Group’s expansion, contributing in particular to the business of large urban projects through the implementation of “Progetto Spazi”: a team of specialists providing support and advice for the creation of effective, connected and integrated tailor-made solutions adapted to the needs of today’s scenarios. Thanks to the projects developed in 2024 and in the months to come, the team hopes to contribute up to 10% of CAME Italy’s revenues, which is why it will be further strengthened in 2025.
In 2024, CAME S.p.A. took part in the creation of important projects and facilities both domestically and abroad. To name just some, the Group provided perimeter access control for the Stade de France, and installed a parking system capable of managing more than 15,000 visitors a day at the Suntago Water World Park in Poland, Europe’s largest indoor water park. In Italy, instead, CAME Italia automated the access control and payment system of the Fiera Bergamo parking lot, accessed by 6,500 cars at each event; and provided the technology to automate six parking lots in Trieste, able to accommodate over 3,000 indoor parking spaces, simultaneously improving city mobility.
2025 will be the year of integrating processes with a view to Industry 4.0, and launching numerous product innovations, in particular the new generation of sliding and swing gate automation which is CAME’s core business; along with new automatic barriers, new systems for access control and video entry management, and much more.
“2024 was a very good year, with growth in multiple areas and continued market leadership. Now we are aiming for a 2025 of capitalization, consolidating the commitments made to improve process efficiency, launching new and innovative products to expand our core business, and putting the new electronics production site, to be named CAME Factory, into full operation,” commented Andrea Menuzzo, CEO and Chairman of CAME S.p.A. – All this has also been possible thanks to the 20 million invested in the two-year period 2023-2024 in R&D, new buildings, sustainability and welfare projects’.
The new 9,000-square-meter production site for manufacturing electronic systems is already operational and will be inaugurated in the coming months. The building, which is designed with the highest standards of sustainability and smart manufacturing technologies, will help increase productivity and reduce time-to-market. In addition, a second facility of more than 3,000 square meters, called CAME Living, will also be officially inaugurated at the beginning of the year, containing a two-story, multipurpose area available to employees for corporate events, and a canteen capable of serving more than 600 people.
CAME’s commitment to developing environmentally friendly policies also continues. In 2024, the roadmap started in 2023 was continued: new technologies were implemented by means of which the company achieved 18% of self-produced energy compared to energy consumed, with the goal of reaching 35% by the end of the year and a further 20% reduction in CO2 emissions. Additional photovoltaic panels will also be installed in 2025 and the full-electric vehicle fleet with attached parking lot charging stations will also be upgraded, supporting a complete transition to more sustainable corporate mobility.
