Highpoint, a 45-storey skyscraper and a flagship of the wider Elephant and Castle regeneration project, is one of the tallest residential blocks of its kind in the capital, in the place of a disused hotel.
CAME BPT have supplied the door entry system to this development in the heart of Elephant and Castle, London. The development boasts 470 new residential units and amenities for the local area that are all being served and connected by BPT's flagship XiP Video entry system. Whilst the development is split into one 45-storey tower and 3 smaller sub blocks, all handsets are linked back to 2 PC based virtual concierge stations, via a site-wide dedicated LAN, which are able to communicate with all of the residents.
- 10 Vandal Resistant Digitha Entry Panels
- 2 Bespoke Vandal Resistant Posts
- 2 PC Based Virtual Concierges
- 470 Agata Video Handsets
The tower block is octagonal in shape, providing the majority of plots with corner balconies. The environment was a key driver in the concept, and communal roof gardens with spectacular views, a number of green roofs and 500 bicycle spaces were incorporated from the outset to further the development's green credentials.
