Established in 2014, HMS Automated Gates supply and automate bespoke gates for commercial and domestic premises. With a decade in the industry HMS have developed a firm partnership with CAME thanks to shared business values, including a commitment to always put the customer first, and a focus on safety.
A recent installation saw the team at HMS develop a solution for a shallow driveway with limited access to allow the opening of swinging gates. HMS Automated Gates owner William Dallow shares how the BXV+ sliding motor was selected both for its advanced features and safety options and also it’s aesthetic look.
The BXV+ features adaptive torque control for intelligent power delivery in all conditions, the ability to wire safety and activation devices on a straightforward BUS system and 4 dedicated safety inputs. The BXV+ is fully CAME Connect compatible allowing setup and commissioning to take place on a mobile device or tablet using the dedicated CAME app, alongside providing activation options and scenarios for the end user.
Lead Engineer David Fisher describes CAME equipment as “the best of the best” and how using the BXV+ as a primary and secondary pair was straightforward to install and easier to integrate as a pair than other equipment he has fitted.
The installation was completed with a CAME wireless GSM MTM intercom, adding further convivence to the end user and providing another straightforward integration for HMS. The latest 4G LTE MTM intercom further simplifies installation with minimal wiring plus app based setup and commissioning.
The collaborative partnership between installer and CAME is shown through the relationship the team at HMS have with Area Manager Dave Blakeman, who is “Always at the end of the phone”. William describes this relationship “David has proven to be a team member our company, he works for CAME, but he is like a team member for us. CAME in my opinion really do go the extra mile!”
