Congratulations to Alan Duff of AKD Security who won our replica CAME BPT Yamaha British Supersport Bike from the 2016 Dickies Supersport season!

In addition to the bike, Alan has won a pair of British Supersport tickets to the final round at Brands Hatch on 14-16 October 2022. These tickets will include access to the McAMS Yamaha VIP hospitality marquee with complimentary food and drink throughout the day.

As a former Title Sponsor of Team Traction Control, the race team founded by Keith Flint, CAME UK were gifted this race bike which has proudly stood pride of place in our Hemel Hempstead branch for the last few years reminding us of the great times.

Blending outstanding balance and refined ergonomics to deliver the most exhilarating riding experience both on and off the track, the Team Traction Control liveried R6 is a thing of beauty for any racing enthusiast. There are some things that money just can’t buy!

Thank you to everybody who generously entered the competition with all proceeds being donated to CHESS Homeless charity, who will ensure that all money raised will help change the lives that need it most!

THE PRIZE DRAW

We would also like to say a massive thank you to McAMS Yahama rider, Jason O'Halloran, who kindly provided his services to help us draw the winner. Watch the winner reveal at Donington Park on 30th September:

Update: Presentation (28 October)

A huge congratulations once again to Alan Duff of AKD Security in Kendal on becoming the proud new owner of the CAME BPT Yamaha R6! We had such a cracking morning with Alan and Dawn presenting Alan with his new ’toy’... knowing it’s going to a good home makes the presentation of the bike even more special for us.

It was also great to be able to hand over a massive £2740 to Robb Saggs, CEO of CHESS Homeless, who joined the proceedings. Our very own Harry Phillips, Business Development Manager in the Chelmsford area for CAME Entrotec, gladly handed over the all-important cheque.

We'd also like to thank Tarran Mackenzie of McCAMS Yamaha who joined us to give his expert knowledge of the bike, and gave Alan a few tips on how to ride it!

Once again we’d like to reiterate our thanks to every single person that entered the raffle and donated so generously to help CHESS Homeless, your kindness will go a long way to helping a lot of people!

THE CHARITY

The best part is that all proceeds from the Yamaha R6 Supersport race bike raffle will be donated to CHESS Homeless. CAME UK strives to provide safe and secure living environments for all clients; as a result, we've supported several housing charities over the years. On this occasion, it seemed only natural to support an extraordinary charity close to where Keith Flint grew up.

CHESS Homeless operates a ‘Change Programme’ that helps adults who have become homeless regain control of their lives. The Change Programme gives direct access to shelter, with each person having their own room, phone, internet, computer, and washing and laundry facilities.

Beyond this, CHESS Homeless work with several rehabilitation partners that provide access to mental health services, health and wellness courses, independent housing, counselling, and much more.

With your help CHESS Homeless can continue delivering excellent, life changing, services to the people who need it.
