The Challenge

CODE Students is a provider of “Luxury” student accommodation that supplements Universities own housing to ensure there is sufficient student accommodation for all. The accommodation is not just about where the students live, but it is also about ensuring they have opportunities to socialise and create a support network during their time at university.

Ever since the business began, CODE have used CAME KMS SimpleKey Web for their communal door access and which gives all the benefits of Cloud base access control.

The Requirement

With high numbers of students living in their apartments and changing on an annual basis, it is essential that whatever system is used to control the communal doors was easy to manage with a high number of students changing each year, CODE needed to be able to add and delete fobs easily and quickly.

The Solution

CODE, having chosen SimpleKey Web, have a single communal door access control solution throughout their student accommodation. With SimpleKey Web being a fully cloud based system, accommodation managers are not required to visit the block when they require to add and delete fobs, as this can be done from any internet connected device. SimpleKey Web has many other benefits including the ability to identify if students are in their accommodation when parents need to know. Not only are CODE able to deliver a superior service to the students but to their parents as well, delivering piece of mind as well as secure access.
