In 2021, CAME UK acquired Key Management Systems (KMS) and Entrotec Ltd, as part of a strategic development initiative to combine resources and collectively deliver more advanced access control solutions.

CAME KMS and CAME ENTROTEC have been working closely to align systems and develop a comprehensive solution for a mix of private and public developments.

Fully integrating APEX door entry panels with the cloud-based SimpleKey Web access control system will enable both companies to collaboratively deliver a more complete solution for new build and existing developments.

APEX

Designed for low and high rise developments that have multiple apartments and doors, or where concierge facilities are required. Straight forward to install handset marshalling cabinets satisfy even the most complex audio, video or ‘mix and match’ door entry systems.

  • Flexible - Full handset isolation and switch adjustable time periods for all functions.
  • Limited energy usage - Energy efficient White on Black OLED displaying panel instructions and call progress messages
  • Robust and reliable - The stainless steel 2.5mm BS316 call panels are compliant with a number of industry regulations.
  • System limits - Over 1000 digital and functional doors/system with configurable door zoning.
  • Configuration flexibility - APEX system controllers are supplied in 8, 16 and 24 way formats so there is a solution for every need.

SimpleKey Web

Our SimpleKey Web system is a unique and innovative access control solution for multi user residences. It is now used by over 400 local authorities and housing associations, and controls communal doors in approximately 22,000 housing blocks.

  • Fob Administration - Fobs can be simply and quickly added or deleted from any web enabled device.
  • Release Doors Remotely - Open doors from any web enabled device.
  • Manage Users -  Organise users into housing blocks/estates/user groups so that they may be controlled collectively.
  • Door Unlock Invitation -  Allow temporary visitors entry by providing them a digital limited time access credential. Permissions can be pre-configured to guarantee site security.
  • System Alerts - Emails automatically generated for alerts like door left or forced open.
  • Scheduled Reporting - Configure SimpleKey Web to generate reports automatically and distribute them to predefined individuals.
