With lockdown easing, the summer round the corner and sports clubs starting up again, local councils are doing everything they can to ensure that clubs can play. Somerset West & Taunton council covers one of the most stunning areas in England and as with most district councils, they have a large portfolio of multi dwelling properties, in addition they also provide a wide range of sporting and leisure facilities.
With such a wide range of properties requiring access control managment, the council were having to invest a considerable amount of time and money, maing sure residents and sports & leisure users across the district had the right keys for buildings. The results was a time intensive process that didn’t allow the council to provide the level of service they were looking for.
A decision was made to revieiw their process and find the best technology to replace the old key based systems.
CAME KMS SimpleKey Web was already being used to control access into the councils multi dwellings properties and they decided to roll this out across their portfolio of sporting pavilions. The results has been impressive with the council being able to provide controlled access for coaches and managers to access the different sporting facilities easily.
