Residents and Riverside Housing association were delighted with our Christmas giveaway communal security solution.
Bamfords, CAME KMS, Entrotec and ABCA came together to give away and install a security door, door entry and access control system.
The companies launched a competition prior to Christmas 2020, in which housing associations and councils could apply to win a free communal security solution.
There were many applications, and all were incredibly worthy. A panel from the companies got together to make the difficult decision of who to choose to be the winner. As there were so many entries, a decision was taken to not only do one communal security solution but provide two instead.
One of our lucky winners was Riverside, who nominated Centre 28, a supported living scheme for young people who are homeless in Hull.
North Wales Housing benefit from second Christmas giveaway
Tai Gogledd Cymru / North Wales Housing currently has around 2,500 homes spread across Gwynedd, Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire, and Wrexham are known to be the regional leaders in assisting vulnerable people.
In the second of our Christmas giveaways, Bamfords, CAME KMS, Entrotec and Baydale Control Systems came together to give away and install a security door, door entry and access control system for North Wales Housing.
After evaluation of the entries to the competition, the Directors of the companies decided that the scheme was in desperate need of a new communal security door, access control and door entry system. The existing communal door to the property, could be easily forced open, compromising the security and left residents feeling vulnerable, insecure and at risk.
