As CAME KMS announced their latest charitable project together with Bamford Doors and Entrotec, Secured by Design (SBD) has seen the work that has been done in the community over the last six months and recently published an article detailing this work.
In the current climate, most areas of our society are facing challenges and as a group of businesses it has always been important to help out where we can, so we saw these challenges as an opportunity to do more to help.
Before Christmas we ran a competition for UK housing providers to nominate a building within their organisation, which would benefit from a free communal door security solution. The solution was eventually donated to two organisations, one in the North East who provide safe accommodation for the young homeless and one in North Wales supporting single parents.
It is this type of activity that has enabled KMS, Bamfords and Entrotec to demonstrate their values and put something back into the community.

CAME KMS, CAME Entrotec and Bamfords have decided to run a similar project at Easter and the results will be published in the next few weeks.
CAME KMS, are a member company of Secured by Design (SBD), the official police security initiative, which seeks to improve the physical security of buildings by encouraging the use of products, such as doors, windows, locks and walling systems that meet SBD’s Police Preferred Specification, which provides a recognised standard for all security products that can deter and reduce crime. We believe this also demonstrates our commitment to safety and quality and gives our customers extra piece of mind.
