SBD run news items based on successful projects of their members and this week, it is CAME KMS’s turn.
CAME KMS’ SimpleKey Web is an accredited product by SBD and when they saw the work done by CAME KMS to help Nuneaton & Bedworth Borough Council deliver Independent Living they wanted to do a feature on the project.
Hundreds of residents live at more than 30 housing schemes near Coventry that provide independent living accommodation, all these people have benefited from having a CAME KMS fob entry to their communal door – and the reassurance of knowing that the door is monitored remotely to provide an extra layer of safety and security.
The CAME KMS system means Council staff can check residents’ door usage, which will highlight their level of mobility and activity to indicate they are well – and their inactivity, which may suggest they are unwell and in need of urgent assistance. The Council can also see whether the doors have been forced or jammed open.
