It is always good when, in doing your normal business, you can see people being helped and supported when they really need it.
So, when CAME KMS was asked to provide Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council communal door access control for their supported living properties for the people over 55 and those over 50 with specific medical conditions, it became more than just another customer.
The council wanted to make the independent living accommodation as easy as possible for the residents and at the same time be able to check residents had entered into buildings to provide additional safety and security for them.
CAME KMS SimpleKey Web is a cloud-based system which can be accessed from any device connected to the internet allowing the building managers to add or delete lost fobs instantly, plus doors can be remotely opened if required. Fobs can also be programmed for access through specific communal doors, plus, the council can then see the access events of the doors controlled.
Mitchell Bardsley at Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council explains “The KMS SimpleKey Web solution has met all our needs for our Independent living programme, helping make it easier for residents to gain access and at the same time helps us provide a safer living environment”.
