As a manufacturer we pride ourself on quality. We aim to ensure that any accreditation that is industry standard is applied for and achieved. All memberships to leading organisations and compliance to their code of conducts are fundamental to us in providing confidence to our clients.
We ensure that all of our products and manufacturing processes meet current compliance regulations as required under European Law. Secured by Design
Established in 1989, Secured by Design (SBD) is the title for a group of national police projects focusing on the design and security for new and refurbished homes, commercial premises and car parks as well as the acknowledgement of quality security products and crime prevention projects. It supports the principles of ‘designing out crime’ through physical security and processes.
ISO
ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 161 national standards bodies. Through its members, it brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
CAME Entrotec operates an accredited Quality Management System and is audited annually to BS EN ISO 9001:2015 by NQA and holds Certificate No.16147.
RoHS
In line with environmental legislation CAME Entrotec declares all current manufactured products comply with the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in accordance with Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) Directive (2011/65/EU).
WEEE
Recycling of WEEE is a specialist part of the waste and recycling industry. Producers of Electrical and Electronic Equipment are required by the WEEE Directive to be part of a scheme that ensures the recovery, reuse, recycling and treatment of waste. CAME Entrotec is member RM06428 of the Valpak Compliance Scheme and is audited by SEPA, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency in accordance with Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (2012/19/EU) and is subject to audit by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA).
