HERE IS WHAT SALES DIRECTOR, HELEN PHILLIPS, SAYS ABOUT THE ACQUISTION AND EXCITING FUTURE AHEAD...
How have the past 5 months been?
It’s been very busy but so exciting. I am particularly thrilled with how all the staff have really engaged with the transition and are as enthusiastic about the future as I am. We are the same people, committed to delivering an even better service than ever before using the extensive resources now available to us.
What can customers expect in the future?
CAME’s acquisition history gives me huge confidence for the evolution of CAME Entrotec. We have seen first-hand how CAME KMS, since joining the group, has seen some impressive growth and development. The potential synergies between CAME Entrotec and CAME KMS are remarkable and will undoubtedly provide our clients with a more cost-effective, comprehensive, and intuitive solution. We have some excellent expansions being developed so super exciting times ahead.
Do you foresee any business changes that will impact customers?
Changes are inevitable and expected throughout the first year, but these will all aim to streamline business operations which ultimately benefit our clients and installers across the social housing sector. I am really keen to reassure all our clients that CAME Entrotec are still the organisation they know, trust, and love. We uphold CAME Entrotec’s devotion to service, quality, and strong client relationships since these foundations and commitments perfectly align with CAME’s brand values.
How will the synergies within the CAME group impact customers?
As CAME Entrotec are now part of a larger corporation, you can expect accelerated product development as the acquisition is already enabling greater investment in research and development, allowing us to offer our clients further advanced, and a more diverse choice of products. It’s also our aim to enhance the provision of services for example, quotes and delivery of products by adopting improved operating systems across the business.
One thing that won’t change and will only be reinforced is our uncompromised commitment to quality. We will continue to encourage our customers to come along to our UK manufacturing plants and see first-hand how the products are pre-built, pre-programmed and pre-tested before being despatched to site. We know that quality is of utmost importance to the housing professionals we work with along with supplier financial stability as investment into social housing doesn’t just erase criminality it provides residents with the security and protection they need.
Our intention is to provide greater exposure to a more extensive range of industry leading products, and above all the same outstanding customer service we are renowned for.
CAME’s corporate vision of providing a better quality of life through technology and the endeavour to support businesses rather than disrupting them underlines our approach to exceed clients expectations.
Will you continue to work with oem?
Absolutely, in the same way CAME Entrotec and CAME KMS have operated over the past decades, we remain committed to working with all OEM partners to ensure the clients requirements are fulfilled. It’s our intention to dedicate resource to this area as we recognise it’s important to maintaining client choice in this competitive market. Some OEM partners are not just competitors, some are friends and we will always act with high level of integrity and support relationships past and present.
Will there be changes to the products available to customers?
The versatility of products now available within the CAME UK Group will enable our installation partners to expand their business areas by being able to meet broader project requirements. The extensive range available includes, automation equipment (such as gate motors and barriers), bollards, speed gates, turnstiles and road blockers for high-end security.
You can be confident in the equipment you are installing. CAME takes great pride in ensuring all customers receive the correct product knowledge through customer training workshops, intuitive installation guides, and exceptional technical support teams.
What HAS BEEN THE RESPONSE FROM YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS?
Many feel the acquisition of Entrotec was inevitable and very timely. The feedback has been very kind, and the warm wishes are always very welcomed. We have received the results of our 2021 customer audit and are thrilled with the response rate and results. This reinforcing the value many place on our support whether it be helping clients establish their door entry and access control compliancy requirements, or the support we provide to the installers across the UK throughout the entire installation process.
