By using these high-speed networks, fobs can be easily added or deleted immediately as required and with real time reporting for all events from the block.
CAME KMS has developed a range of communication devices that not only allows the choice of the most suitable communications type from site, but also allow fast reliable communication within the site allowing multiple door controllers to be connected back by one communications link, but also allow other services and devices to be monitored and controlled all via SimpleKey Web.
SimpleKey Communications Module, the complete solution
Depending on where you are in the country will dictate the type of connection you have to the internet. Sometimes this can also apply to what communal door access control system your organisation can operate in its residential housing blocks, be those general needs residential or independents living properties.
Some solutions have been designed to use specific communication connections, e.g. 4G or fixed wire internet, but not CAME KMS SimpleKey Web, the UK’s No 1 communal door access control system.
The SimpleKey solution has been developed to access the internet for communication to the SimpleKey Web administration software by using the appropriate SimpleKey communication module. So, whether the residential housing block requires a fixed line internet connection or a 4G connection, SimpleKey Web runs just as efficiently, allowing you to access and operate the system from any device, ensuring you can deliver a seamless service for your residents.
Reliable communications
It is vitally important that any web based communal door access solution has fast reliable communications to the internet, no matter what network it is operating on.
The latest range of CAME KMS communication modules for the CAME KMS SimpleKey door controller, can either use 4/5G wireless or broadband I/P networks, which is ever is the more appropriate on site.
By using these high-speed networks, CAME KMS SimpleKey Web the UK’s No1 communal door access control system, allows fobs to be easily added or deleted immediately as required and with real time reporting for all events from the block.
In addition, and to make installation easier the SimpleKey System Controller has three versions of the new SimpleKey Communications Module;
- 4/5G
- IP
- Multi
Communication Module/SimpleKey System Controllers can also be configured to allow multiple sites to share the same internet connection to SimpleKey Web.
he 4G version can control a total of 16 doors, but a number of 4G Communication Module/SimpleKey System Controller systems can be configured on one site, allowing site wide access control sharing the same connection to SimpleKey Web.
If the IP network has its own broadband connection, this then allows the IP Communications Module/ SimpleKey System Controller to communicate directly to the web without the need for the 4G connection. In this case an unlimited number of Controllers can be connected by one broadband connection.
However, if an IP network has been installed on the site, then by using the Multi Communications Module up to three further IP Communication Module / SimpleKey System Controllers can be connected by one 4G link to the web, allowing up to 8 primary and 56 secondary doors to be connected.
