A strategic development initiative has combined resources to collectively deliver improved access control. This is a joint venture of CAME KMS and CAME Entrotec, launching the Integrated APEX door entry system with the SimpleKey Web cloud-based software, presenting an innovative integration package.

World Giving Day

CAME KMS have marked World Giving Day on November 28th this year by choosing to support the One Can Trust Foodbank Trust in High Wycombe with over £100 worth of food for their local community. Established in 2011, it serves High Wycombe and the wider area of South Buckinghamshire.

✅ I’ve grown from an Office Manager but have always been focused on customer care so I’ll probably have dealt with any challenges you might have, allowing me to support you fully.
✅ My favourite sort of work is getting involved with project-based activities like a bespoke project we have underway for Peabody helping them better organise their residential stock through our cloud-based platform.

✅ I’m involved in advising you preceding purchase and making sure we have the required details prior to building your bespoke system, I’ll process your final order and I enjoy seeing you through from project beginning to end.
✅ Like most of us, my favourite product is SimpleKey Web, because of just how impressive it is; it allows the customer to see everything in near real time, helps you to manage your properties and supports you with your job administration.
✅ I’ve recently been assigned to work on a new project with the London borough of Wandsworth which I’ve been able to get really fired up about. So far, we have quoted on 12 blocks and have begun implementing some of them. This is something I took on early in my career at KMS so it’s exciting to see how it has developed over time and I can see clearly how we are enhancing this going forward. It’s nice following a large-scale project through from start to finish.
✅ It’s nice to see how my job has developed over time from simply answering straightforward calls, learning our products through to obtaining critical data for programming and creating complete systems.
✅ One of the unique aspects about working here is the mix of cultures we have under the same roof. It paves the way to better problem-solving, more empathy and compassion, deepened learning, and approaches the world from various perspectives.
✅ Something not many people know about me is that I took on an extra degree when I was feeling a bit bored, so I took up a Physics degree! My aim is to have a PhD by the time I’m 40!

Business Update from Helen Phillips

Q4 of 2023 has been exciting times for both CAME Entrotec and CAME KMS and we’ve seen a wave of growth which has resulted in many new faces. 

On the front line, we’ve seen the addition of Kirsty Grimley in Internal Sales for CAME Entrotec, bringing a heady mix of new enthusiasm with knowledge and expertise from within the organisation.

Stuart Taylor now heading up as Technical Services Manager, brings with him Duncan McLean and Andrew McGlinchey in support.

We gave a friendly welcome in our CAME KMS family to Krishna Madathil as a new Technical Support Engineer at your service.

More importantly, we say a fond farewell, to our treasured Production Manager at CAME Entrotec, Jim Russell as he embarks on his retirement. He’s been part of the fabric with us for 28 years and is loved by so many of us. Enjoy having some time for yourself Jim! Kai Simpson will be taking on the role of Production Supervisor going forward, and Scott McLeod as Planning Supervisor, both of whom continue their careers from within the business.

It certainly is exciting times ahead as we continue to grow and develop at pace, with a clear focus on supporting our communities well into the future.

Installer Training

Accredited Installer Programme from CAME Entrotec can help propel you from strength to strength. Through completing our installation and product training, having installations improved consistently, you’ll directly benefit from business referrals when we receive installation requests. 

ABCA Systems have been taking advantage of one-to-one training and support for over 10 years and have recently upgraded this with the latest Apex integration installation training. Ben Hall, Project Manager said “The programme continues to assure us on product quality, consistency with our installations and provides us with high quality leads”

Christmas Opening Hours

We will be on shut down from Friday 22nd December at 5pm until Tuesday 2nd January 2024 at 9am.

We will continue to ship orders up until 21st December. But... our advice to customers is get orders placed as soon as possible if they are in any way urgent.

Technical support will resume from Tuesday 2nd January 2024
